Just a few short years ago, I was in the throes of a demanding corporate job for which I flew too many miles, juggled more tasks than I could possibly manage, and dealt with more office drama than I care to recall. After too many years of feeling overwhelmed, I became interested in the topic of stress management. Since reading about it wasn’t enough to soothe my frazzled nerves, I chose a more formal path of study.
This led me to Dr. Brian “Luke” Seaward, a world-renowned health psychologist and stress management expert. After studying with Luke, I became certified as a Holistic Stress Management Instructor. I continued my studies with a focus on mindfulness for stress management, and after completing a rigorous certification program at the acclaimed McLean Meditation Institute in Sedona, Arizona, I became certified as a Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor .
Today, after leaving the corporate world behind, I’m happy to share what I’ve learned from both my personal experience with stress and my academic training.
