Laurie Bartolo is no stranger to stress. After spending many years in a demanding corporate job, she was suffering from burnout, fatigue, chronic pain and stress. The stress of the job spilled into all aspects of her life, leaving her feeling overwhelmed. Unwilling to continue living this way, she sought out healthy methods to manage the chronic stress she was experiencing.
To accomplish this, Laurie undertook a formal path of study with world-renowned teachers in the fields of stress management, mindfulness and meditation, including Dr. Brian “Luke” Seaward and Sarah McLean. Their teachings were transformative for her and set her on the path of a teacher. After completing her in-depth training, she finally left the corporate world behind to help others on their journey to stress less and enjoy life more.
As a stress management, meditation and mindfulness instructor, Laurie uses a practical approach to inform and inspire others on these topics. She teaches a meditation practice that can be easily learned and followed at home. She leads workshops to educate participants about simple yet transformative ways to foster wellbeing. Laurie also writes about the topics of self-care, stress management, mindfulness and meditation on her website at lauriebartolo.com.
