Laurie Bartolo is a stress management, meditation and mindfulness instructor living and working in the Detroit area. Her workshops focus on simple yet transformative ways to foster resilience, inner peace and wellbeing. She has a special interest in working with others to incorporate mind-body practices into their physical fitness routines, and harnessing the power of mindfulness and meditation to achieve higher levels of concentration, energy and inner strength.
Laurie’s interest in these topics began with her own quest to find healthy ways to manage the stress of a demanding job. Towards that end, she undertook a formal path of study with world-renowned teachers in the fields of stress management, mindfulness and meditation. This immersive study was transformative for her and set her on the path of a teacher.
Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Worksite Wellness from East Carolina University and worked as a corporate Human Resources Director for 20+ years. She earned certification as a Holistic Stress Management Instructor after studying with world-renowned health psychologist and stress management expert Dr. Brian “Luke” Seaward and successfully completing his rigorous training program. Additionally, she is certified as a Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor through the acclaimed McLean Meditation Institute of Sedona, Arizona. Laurie is passionate about sharing practical, proven and healthy ways to sleep better, feel better, live better and work better.
